Conocimientos en tecnología, un requisito para los empleos del futuro
“La apropiación tecnológica está transformando el mercado laboral. Samsung contribuye a que los jóvenes del país alcancen su máximo potencial a través de programas educativos que desarrollen el pensamiento computacional, crítico y creativo, mediante conocimientos en programación y codificación”, señala Iván Laverde, gerente de Ciudadanía Corporativa de Samsung Colombia.
Actualmente, la compañía cuenta con el programa Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC), donde jóvenes entre 14 y 28 años adquieren habilidades que les permite abrirse campo en diversas industrias como la del Software.
“Luego de participar en el programa incursioné en la industria del software como analista de datos y aplique en la vida real todo lo que aprendí durante las clases. Creo que es un programa transformador que abre la puerta hacia la tecnología e impacta realmente a la sociedad”, comenta Loren Vásquez Rivera, graduada del Samsung Innovation Campus.
Los profesores capacitan a los estudiantes para que además de utilizar la tecnología, sean capaces de crearla. De esta forma, los jóvenes aprenden a implementar programas que perduren en el tiempo y adquieren los conocimientos necesarios para enfrentar los retos profesionales.
“SIC nos permite aprender sobre tecnología de una manera diferente. He podido abarcar varios lenguajes de programación para entender mejor hacia qué campo quiero enfocarme en el futuro. Es fascinante generar códigos que podré ver en el espacio físico y construir sistemas que faciliten las actividades de los seres humanos”, menciona John Tibaquirá, graduado de Samsung Innovation Campus.
