Declaran días cívicos por Festival Vallenato en Valledupar

Mediante el Decreto 0471 del 16 de abril, el alcalde de Valledupar, Ernesto Orozco Durán, declaró días cívicos el miércoles 30 de abril y el viernes 2 de mayo, en ocasión a la versión 58 del Festival de la Leyenda Vallenata, que este año es en homenaje a Omar Geles Suárez.

Dicha declaratoria está amparada por el artículo 315 de la Constitución Nacional, y el artículo 91 de la Ley 136 de 1994, con la finalidad básica que la población en general pueda disfrutar del máximo evento representativo del Folclor y la Identidad Cultural Vallenata.

“Valledupar se viste de fiesta, el Festival Vallenato es de todos y por eso merecemos tener nuestra ciudad lista, así estamos trabajando unidos a todas las instituciones y queremos hacer el mejor festival de la historia”, declaró el alcalde municipal, Ernesto Orozco Durán.

De igual manera, la administración municipal invitó a los habitantes, residentes y visitantes de la ciudad de Valledupar durante la realización de la máxima fiesta de acordeones, para que participen de manera activa en los diferentes eventos y programaciones que harán parte del Festival de la Leyenda Vallenata, como una forma de apoyo al patrimonio cultural de los vallenatos y vallenatas.
