Israel Romero, Rafael Orozco y El Binomio de Oro, serán homenajeados en el 59 Festival Vallenato 2026 que anualmente se realiza en Valledupar a finales del mes de abril.
Así lo confirmó ‘El Pollo Irra’ quien fue notificado de esta gran noticia hoy en la sede de la Fundación del Festival de la Leyenda en Valledupar con presencia de toda su directiva.
“Esto es un honor grande y estoy feliz porque es un reconocimiento al trabajo que hemos hecho con El Binomio de Oro en Colombia y el mundo”, dijo Israel Romero.
El Binomio de Oro ha sido una institución musical con grandes éxitos en la música vallenata como ‘La creciente’, ‘La Parranda es pa’ amanecé’, ‘Qué será de mí’, ‘De tanto verte’, ‘Olvídala’, ‘Me sobran las palabras’, ‘Realizame mis sueños’, y ‘Cómo te olvido’.
Por esta agrupación, conocida como ‘La Universidad del Vallenato’ han pasado cantantes como Gaby García, Jean Carlos Centeno, Jorge Celedón, Junior Santiago, Orlando Acosta, Dubán Bayona, entre otros.
Actualmente El Binomio de Oro con Israel Romero tiene como voz líder a su hijo Israel David y sigue llevando el vallenato a los mejores escenarios de Colombia y el mundo.
