Valledupar cerró con éxito la celebración de sus 476 años con dos conciertos multitudinarios

Con una masiva asistencia y un ambiente de alegría colectiva, Valledupar cerró por todo lo alto la celebración de sus 476 años de fundación, consolidando este evento como un hecho histórico de la ciudad. 

La administración municipal, liderada por el alcalde Ernesto Orozco, le regaló a los vallenatos dos conciertos totalmente gratuitos, una apuesta cultural sin precedentes que permitió el disfrute de propios y visitantes durante dos días consecutivos de música, encuentro y celebración.

Un concierto multitudinario marcó el cumpleaños de Valledupar

El primer concierto se llevó a cabo el sábado 10 de enero en el parque de la Leyenda Vallenata Consuelo Araujonoguera, donde familias, jóvenes y turistas se congregaron para cantar, bailar y rendir homenaje a la historia, identidad y el folclor de la capital mundial del vallenato.

En el escenario brillaron Martín Elías Díaz Jr., Luisra Solano, Mono Zabaleta, Peter Manjarrés, Churo Díaz y Mario Cerchar, quienes le cantaron a Valledupar en una jornada que se extendió hasta el amanecer. 

Durante el evento, los artistas rindieron un sentido homenaje al cantante de música popular Yeison Jiménez, lamentando su fallecimiento en un accidente aéreo, así como a los íconos del vallenato Diomedes Díaz, Martín Elías y Omar Geles.

“Muchas gracias, Valledupar. Fue un gran concierto; gracias por llenar el Parque de la Leyenda con tanto cariño. Cantar en casa siempre será un honor”, expresó el cantante Peter Manjarrés al culminar su presentación. 

Vitrina para el talento local

Luisra Solano describió el concierto como un “momento único e inolvidable”, agradeciéndole a Dios, al alcalde Ernesto Orozco y a los espectadores que corearon sus canciones, que interpretó junto a sus invitados especiales Simón Figueroa, José Rafael ‘Morre’ Romero y su compañero Chide García. 

“Qué noche tan maravillosa me regalaste. Un momento único e inolvidable. Gracias a todo el público valduparense que siempre me ha abierto sus brazos y me brinda sus aplausos. Gracias al alcalde Ernesto Orozco por hacernos parte de esta fiesta tan bonita”, dijo Luisra Solano. 

Martín Elías Jr. le dedicó unos versos a su dinastía. Por su parte, Churo Díaz anunció un adelanto de su nuevo álbum, mientras que Mono Zabaleta puso a vibrar el escenario con las canciones de su producción ‘Brutal’ y Mario Cerchar cerró con un homenaje a Jorge Oñate. 

Más de 30.000 personas ingresaron al parque de la Leyenda Vallenata, provenientes de ciudades como Barrancabermeja, Barranquilla, Santa Marta, Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Montería y Riohacha, entre otras regiones del país, y también público extranjero de México, Ecuador, Venezuela, Italia y Estados Unidos. Desde tempranas horas, los asistentes esperaron a las afueras del ‘Templo del vallenato’ para disfrutar de la presentación de sus artistas favoritos y celebrar con pasión y entusiasmo el cumpleaños de Valledupar.

Desenguayabe en ‘Valledupar al río’

La celebración por el cumpleaños 476 de Valledupar continuó en el parque La Provincia con la jornada cultural ‘Valledupar al Río’, que reunió a los artistas Yader Romero, Jhon Mindiola, El Combo del Morre, Mando Ruiz, Danny Gil y Rafa Daza, además de las cantantes Jasleidy y Camila Córdoba en representación del vallenato femenino.

Desde la 1 de la tarde, el público masivo disfrutó de una jornada cultural gratuita a orillas del río Guatapurí, en un espacio que impulsó la economía local, promovió el vallenato tradicional y moderno. 

“Llegué desde Barrancabermeja a disfrutar el cumpleaños de Valledupar. Para mí esta fiesta se ha convertido en una tradición, ya que tengo varios años consecutivos gozando del buen vallenato y festejando el cumpleaños de esta hermosa ciudad que se ha convertido en mi segundo hogar, así no esté radicada aquí”, afirmó Erika Torres, turista de Barrancabermeja (Santander). 

Balance positivo

Iván Murgas Vallejo, promotor del Súper Concierto Valledupar 476 años y de ‘Valledupar al Río’, entregó un balance positivo de esta festividad, la cual posiciona a la capital del Cesar como una ciudad de eventos durante todo el año. Todo el mundo estaba contento y agradecido con el alcalde Ernesto Orozco por este cumpleaños que reafirma a Valledupar como una ciudad de eventos y fortalece su crecimiento a través de la cultura y el turismo. Felicito al alcalde Ernesto; a su secretaria de Cultura, Yanelis, y a toda la administración de la Alcaldía de Valledupar por este gran trabajo en el cumpleaños 476 de nuestra ciudad. Darles las gracias también a la Policía, Ejército, Cruz Roja, Defensa Civil, Aseo del Norte, Alumbrado Público y a todos los patrocinadores que apoyaron estos grandes eventos”, manifestó Murgas Vallejo. 

Con estas actividades, la Alcaldía de Valledupar reafirmó el acceso a la cultura, el fortalecimiento del tejido social y la promoción de espacios de sano esparcimiento que unen a la ciudadanía en torno a sus tradiciones.
