Alrededor de quince mil afectados y un muerto por inundaciones en Bosconia
Habitantes del municipio de Bosconia fueron sorprendidos durante la madrugada por inundaciones debido a las fuertes lluvias que se vienen registrando en la región, lo que dejó un muerto y alrededor de quince mil afectados.
Al parecer las lluvias y la falta de mantenimiento de un canal que fue construido hace más de 10 años para evitar inundaciones, fue lo que desató la tragedia y dejó a un centenar de familias afectadas.
La comunidad salió a la vía Bosconia-Valledupar para llamar la atención de las autoridades y pedir pronta ayuda.
El alcalde de Bosconia, Edulfo Villar, personal del cuerpo de Bomberos del municipio y el secretario de gobierno departamental, Eduardo Esquivel, atendieron la emergencia, al tiempo que se anunció el apoyo con ayudas humanitarias a las familias damnificadas que lo perdieron todo.
“Hace 10 años no se presentaban estas inundaciones, son muchas las familias que perdieron sus enseres, la emergencia ha sido tan grande que se nos escapa a nuestra capacidad de reacción y de seguir las lluvias, se estaría evaluando la posibilidad de organizar albergues para los damnificados, mientras tanto se está trabajando con maquinaria amarilla en los diferentes barrios ”, dijo el alcalde de Bosconia, quien seguro que se decretó la calamidad pública y la urgencia manifiesta en el municipio para aunar y disponer recursos que permitan superar esta situación.
