Luz Adriana Camargo fue elegida como la nueva Fiscal General de la Nación
Con 18 votos a favor, Luz Adriana Camargo Garzón fue elegida este martes por la Sala Plena de la Corte Suprema de Justicia como nueva fiscal general de la Nación.
Se conoció que la ternada Amelia Perez había renunciado a su candidatura horas antes de la elección; aún así se determinó continuar con el proceso de elección “En el marco de las competencias, el Presidente de la República presentó una terna que fue validada por la Corte y no le correspondía a la Corte aceptar renuncias de una terna presentada por el Presidente”.
La nueva fiscal deberá ser notificada y tendrá ocho días para aceptar su cargo.
Posteriormente Camargo tendrá 20 días para presentar los documentos requeridos para que su elección sea confirmada, y correrán 15 días para tomar posesión ante el Presidente de la República.
